David joined the Health Foundation as a Governor in May 2019.
David studied Classics at St John’s College, Cambridge and spent 34 years in the investment management industry, latterly focused on relationships with many of the major Sovereign Funds. He also advised the UN Pension Fund on asset allocation over a 28 year period.
He is Director of PMCL, a boutique investment consulting firm, and a Trustee of the National Trust whose investment committee he also chaired from 2008 to 2017. In addition, David is an independent adviser to Beazley PLC on investments and sits on the Investment advisory committee of UNRWA. He is also a Trustee of B-eat.
