MJ Achievement Awards 2022 Celebrating place-based approaches to health equity at the MJ Achievement Awards 2022
About the award
Delivering a place-based approach to health equity? Enter our sponsored award at the MJ Achievement Awards 2022.
Local government has a vital role in creating the conditions for good health: good quality work and housing, supporting communities and families to thrive, and delivering investment in skills and infrastructure.
In recognition of this, and the 10th anniversary of the decision to move public health into local government, the Health Foundation has designed and sponsored an award for the MJ Achievement Awards 2022. The award is called ‘Place-Based Approaches to Health Equity’.
We are inviting entries from local authorities that can display a whole place strategy and tangible improvements in creating fair opportunities to improve health and health equity.
Judging process
Award entries will be judged by our expert panel in two phases: longlisting will happen through February–March, then finalists will be invited to present to the panel in March–May.
The winner will be announced at the awards gala on Friday 24 June 2022, at the Park Plaza Westminster.
