Joe joined the Health Foundation in September 2020 as a Senior Policy Fellow.

Joe is leading the policy influencing strategy for the Collaboration for Wellbeing and Health, developing our policy calls and approach to advocacy through collective action. The Collaboration’s campaigning and advocacy work aims to change the public conversation and shift attitudes to creating and levelling up health, with the ultimate aim of moving the direction of government policy to addressing the wider drivers of health.

Joe has a background in policy and campaigning including the charity sector at Asthma UK and British Red Cross, at the IPPR think tank as well as in Parliament and the civil service. Joe also worked for five years at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Joe has a Masters in Social Policy from the LSE and is a Labour Party member.
