Which ideas were selected by the Q community to receive £30,000 of funding?
During 2018 we successfully piloted the Q Exchange funding programme, with 15 winning projects chosen by Q members at the UK-wide community event in September. Q Exchange is currently closed for applications but we plan to run it again in 2019. Watch this space to find out more.
The big idea
Q Exchange aims to activate the knowledge of improvement experts across the UK; to create links between those leading work and those who can help champion, support, adopt these ideas; and to boost ideas that have the best potential to generate value for the health and care system.
Collective wisdom
Involve people who understand improvement to develop and select projects. Support all involved to learn from evidence, emerging ideas, and each other.

Create links between those leading work and others who champion, support, and help adapt and adopt it.

The story of 2018
During 2018 we piloted Q Exchange. This new funding programme offered Q members the chance to develop ideas and submit bids for up to £30,000 of support funding. These ideas were refined, developed and strengthened with the collective help of the Q community.
