A healthy population is one of the nation's most important assets but the pandemic and response to the virus have long-term implications for health and health inequalities in the UK.

As part of our launch webinar, we spoke to four members of our expert advisory panel for the COVID-19 impact inquiry to hear their thoughts on why this inquiry is needed.

Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Polly MacKenzie, Dame Clare Moriarty and Professor James Nazroo discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic is exposing existing health inequalities in society and may be creating new ones. They share how the inquiry and its findings will help create the conditions needed for everyone to live a healthy life.
