The Health Foundation is committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.
We recognise that many of the individuals and organisations we support through our funding are directly involved in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Physical distancing and isolation requirements will also be impacting on the broader community of grant and contract-holders and organisations supported by the Health Foundation. As a result, we are taking a flexible approach in recognition that some projects and research studies may need to be rephased, paused or adapted.
Health Foundation staff managing grants and contracts have begun contacting project leads to discuss this. If we have not yet been in contact with you, this should happen in the coming weeks.
We will work with grant and contract holders to review timelines and payments in accordance with your needs. If projects need to be rephased or paused, we will consider extension requests on a case-by-case basis. We are also working with some teams to adapt the activities they are undertaking and reorient them in response to COVID-19 where relevant.
We are working to keep our funding calls open, but it may be necessary to pause certain programmes. Application deadlines, shortlisting, interview and decision dates may also change. We will communicate any changes as widely as possible, but please visit our current opportunities page for information on individual programmes and funding calls. Information on partnership and collaborative programmes can also be found on our partners’ websites.
If you have any questions about your current arrangements or are concerned about the impact of COVID-19 on your Health Foundation supported work, please get in touch with the named contact in your agreement or contract.
We want to reassure you that we will do all we can to support you during these unprecedented times.
