About me

Rishabh is a GenerationQ Fellow and Clinical Director at Digital Health Evaluation Services. He is also Chairman of the Board at Willows Health.

As Primary Care Director at Health Education England East Midlands he has a dual governing and executive role with a budget of £360m. His role is to ensure that primary care has the right workforce, with the right training, available to implement the changes needed in the NHS.

As a GP, he carries out his practice work at Willowbrook Medical Centre, where he sees patients three days a week. He is also Vice Chair (and founder) of Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Provider Company, which is composed of 316 GP principals; in addition, he is founder of MyRight Care Ltd, a technology company for sharing care plans. He is Chair of the End of Life Board for Leicestershire.

He maintains a research portfolio including development of new near-patient tests at De Montfort University, where he holds an honorary chair.

Rishabh, through GenerationQ, is interested in learning from others from a variety of different fields and industries, and in improving his ability to lead change effectively: ‘I have found myself in a leadership position through my desire to improve and adapt the existing system. I find myself increasingly at the forefront of significant changes in the delivery of health care locally, and regionally, and the programme would speak to that.’

His aim is to create a new model for delivery of general practice: ‘My driving ambition is to equip primary care with the ability to manage the changes in patient demand, on a background of reduced available workforce'.
