About me
Johnathan is a Clinical Scientist Fellow and Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Edinburgh.
He is a hepatologist at the MRC Centre for Inflammation Research in Edinburgh. This research focuses on haemodynamic and anti-fibrotic effects of targeted therapies in models of cirrhosis and portal hypertension (high blood pressure in the portal vein).
His proposal sets out to evaluate the efficacy of several potential anti-fibrotic strategies in experimental liver fibrosis/cirrhosis, while determining the relationship between changes in liver histology and portal hypertension.
