Giulia Boccarini Economist

Giulia Boccarini joined the Health Foundation's REAL Centre in January 2021 as an Economist.
Giulia works primarily on health and social care finance. Her work contributes to supply-side analysis of the UK healthcare system, including funding and capacity, and how these compare internationally. She also contributed to the analysis for the REAL Centre’s projections of health and social care funding needs.
Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Giulia worked as a fiscal analyst at the Office for Budget Responsibility, where she was responsible for modelling the student loans spending forecast. She also has prior experience in quantitative and qualitative research at Ofgem and Swiss Re.
Giulia graduated in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets at Barcelona School of Economics.
